April's box

Continuing our brewery partnerships in 2019, this month we featured a double helping of Nirvana's Sutra IPA and Mikkeller's Energibajer, alongside an eclectic bunch of individual additions, including the new to market 'Special Effects' from Brooklyn Brewery.

SBC members opened their boxes this month to find:

Two bottles of Nirvana's Sutra IPA (0.5%) – Brewed locally in east London, this vegan friendly IPA is one of our favourite Nirvana beers. A classic IPA offering pine, spice and floral aromas, we find it highly drinkable with a meal or just on its own.

Two bottles of Mikkeller’s ‘Energibajer’ (0.0%) – Used by the Mikkeller running club as an isotonic recovery drink, this refreshing wheat ale also has light fruity notes, great for any-time drinking - not just after exercise!

One can of 'Free Damm' (0.0%) –  A classic alcohol free lager from Barcelona's Damm brewery - great refreshment for a sunny day.

One can of Pistonhead Flat Tire (0.5%) – The non-alcoholic version of Brutal Brewing's 'Flat Tire', this tasty dry-hopped lager is flavoured with Centennial and Mosaic hops.

One bottle of Bitburger's Grapefruit Alkoholfrei (0.0%) – Bitburger's 0.0% version of a grapefruit 'radler', this hard-to-find beer is definitely worth a try.

One bottle of Brooklyn's Special Effects (0.4%) – The first sub 0.5% beer to be released by the Brooklyn Brewery and with it only recently launching in the UK, we are excited to include this hoppy lager to nicely finish off April's box.
